Experience Matters

Implant Dentistry With A Comprehensive Approach

At Dentistry at Vitality Health, we believe that a comprehensive treatment plan, from the Dental Implant diagnosis and planning to the final Dental Implant Restoration, is the most beneficial to the patient. Experience, knowledge and skill combined with modern techniques and technology offer tremendous benefits to our patients. Traditional approaches that involve multiple practitioners (such as dentists, radiologists, and dental surgeons), invariably cost more, may allow for potential miscommunications, longer treatment periods, and more visits to multiple locations.

Dr. Raj Singh

Doctor of Dental Surgery

Dr. Raj Singh is a graduate of the University of Toronto and has been providing Dental Implant solutions for Toronto and the GTA since 1995. His implant training, also at the University of Toronto, was under Dr. George Zarb, who is credited with bringing the science of implant dentistry to North America. Dr. Zarb worked closely with Per-Ingvar Brånemark, who is often referred to as “the father of modern dental implantology”.

Dr. Singh believes in the transformational power of modern dentistry. He believes that the condition of a person’s teeth, and the surrounding gums, muscles, and jaws, can have a dramatic effect on a person’s appearance, their confidence, self-esteem, as well as their overall well-being. He takes a multifaceted approach to comprehensive dental care incorporating Implant, Cosmetic, Reconstructive, Restorative and Preventive Dentistry into a patient’s treatment plan. He develops a customized treatment plan that is ideal for them to achieve optimal health and physical appearance.

Dr. Singh’s philosophy is to incorporate Implant dentistry as a component of comprehensive overall dental solutions. Cosmetic, Functional and Structural aspects are all considered when designing the ideal customized solution for any particular patient.

Dr. Singh was one of the first dentists in the world to be trained in performing computer-guided dental implants. He performed one of the first computer-guided surgeries in North-America in 2004 at the Nobel Biocare training facility in Richmond Hill, Ontario. He was also the first dentist in North America to implement CEREC CAD-CAM technology in 1995 (used to create porcelain restorations that are available to patients in a single visit). Today, these two technologies are converging and complete digital planning and workflow mean that we can provide a patient with their complete solution in one location since we have all of the necessary technologies in our office.

Dr Singh is also supported by an experienced team of staff members, who will happily cater to your needs. Our treatment coordinators, Patty and Angie, have over 50 years of combined dental implant experience. They will help guide you through all aspects of your dental implant treatment. Jackie and Deanna, our two experienced restorative dental hygienists, work side by side with Dr. Singh during all dental implant treatment.

Utilizing our experience, our in-house Sirona XG 3D Cone Beam CT scanner, Sirona CEREC AC technology, Galaxis & 3Shape Digital planning & 3 manufacturing, along with computer-generated SiCat surgical guides (computer-guided), results in a more precise & less invasive surgery. This is a more efficient process with fewer appointments, less time off work, less pain, and virtually no bleeding, swelling and discomfort compared to any other dental implant technique.

Dr. Singh believes that Computer Guided Dental Implant Treatment is such a revolutionary dental implant treatment technique that it is the way of the future and will eventually replace conventional dental implant surgery much like arthroscopic surgery has replaced many forms of more invasive general surgery.

Why not find out how these modern techniques and technology can benefit you today?
