Dr. Raj Singh
Founder of the practice and an implant dentist with forty years of clinical experience, heading a team that has placed thousands of dental implants since 1985.
A practice built from the ground up
Dr. Singh established Vitality Health in 1985, so that patients in Markham would not have to travel downtown for complex work. He has practised for over forty years and has placed implants for 31+ of them — he began in the mid-1990s, when general practitioners in Ontario were first certified to place them.
Four decades later he is the architect of the practice's digital implant programme. He maintains ongoing education through advanced surgical courses and workshops, and has mentored numerous dentists in implant placement technique.

Why experience matters in implant dentistry
Implant placement is a surgical discipline where judgement is built case by case. Thousands of placements mean very few clinical situations are unfamiliar — including the difficult ones, where bone is thin, anatomy is awkward, or previous work has failed.
It also means knowing when not to operate. Some patients are better served by a different treatment entirely, and saying so is part of the job.
