Our digital dental lab, right here in Markham
Same-day restorations, direct quality control, and a technician who can walk to the chair — because the lab is in the building rather than across the city.
Most dental practices send impressions away for laboratory work. Here, crowns, bridges, implant prosthetics, and full-arch restorations are designed and fabricated on site.
It sounds like a logistical detail. In practice it changes the clinical result, because the person making your restoration can see your face, check the shade in the same light you will be seen in, and adjust it while you are still in the chair.
What the in-house lab changes
Speed
Same-day crowns and rapid turnaround on more complex work. The one-to-three week postal round trip simply disappears.
Quality Control
If a margin is not right, it is remade here. When a remake costs two weeks and a courier, the threshold for accepting 'close enough' quietly rises.
Direct Collaboration
Your dentist and the technician discuss your case face to face, often with you present, rather than through notes on a lab prescription.
Shade Matching
Assessed in person against your actual teeth rather than from a photograph and a written shade code.
Where it matters most
For a single posterior crown the difference is mainly convenience. For anterior veneers and full-arch implant prosthetics, where appearance is the whole point and small adjustments make or break the result, having the lab in the building is a genuine clinical advantage.
It is also why we can offer same-day treatment at all — the mill is thirty feet from the chair.
