Dental Crowns

Dental crowns, before & after

Real patient results — from two front crowns to every tooth in the mouth rebuilt.

Every case shown here was treated by Dr. Raj Singh at our Markham practice. They range from replacing a pair of ageing front crowns to rebuilding a whole mouth where the teeth had worn down and the bite had closed with them.

Individual results vary. What these cases illustrate is what crowns are capable of, not a guarantee of what any particular mouth will achieve.

Why a crown rather than a filling or a veneer

A crown covers the whole tooth rather than facing or filling part of it. That matters where a tooth is cracked, root-treated, or has been filled so many times that little sound structure is holding the rest together — coverage is what stops it splitting.

Where teeth have worn down across the whole mouth, the bite has usually closed with them. Crowning them rebuilds the height as well as the appearance, which is what returns comfortable chewing rather than only a better-looking smile.
