What the transformation involves
The visible change is the easy part to photograph. The clinically significant change is underneath: bone that was resorbing is loaded again, a collapsed bite is restored to its correct vertical dimension, and chewing function returns to something close to normal.
Patients consistently report that the functional change — being able to eat properly again — mattered more to them than the appearance, even when appearance was what brought them in.
