The All-on-6 system places six titanium implants per arch rather than the four used in All-on-4. Those two extra anchor points change the mechanics considerably: stronger bone support, more even load distribution, and greater long-term stability.
It is not automatically the better choice — it requires more bone, more surgery, and more cost. But where your anatomy allows it, it is the more robust option.

Which one is right for you
Bone height is the primary determining factor. In the upper jaw we need sufficient space above the sinuses; in the lower jaw, adequate clearance above the nerve. A 3D CBCT scan settles the question definitively.
If you have the bone for six implants and want the more durable result, All-on-6 is the stronger choice. If bone is limited, All-on-4's angled placement is often what makes fixed teeth possible at all — and it remains an excellent outcome.
