Implant Dentistry

Are you a candidate for dental implants?

Most adults with missing teeth can have implants. Find out in a free, no-obligation consultation — with 3D imaging rather than guesswork.

We have helped over twenty thousand patients restore their smile with dental implants. Whether you are a candidate comes down to proper assessment — and that means a 3D scan, not an opinion formed from looking in your mouth.

What makes a good candidate

Bone Volume

Implants need healthy bone to integrate into. A 3D CBCT scan measures your jawbone in three dimensions. Where volume is inadequate, bone grafting and sinus lifts can rebuild the foundation.

General Health

Implant placement is a minor surgical procedure requiring reasonably good general health. Most chronic conditions — including diabetes and hypertension — do not automatically disqualify you, though we may coordinate with your physician.

Gum Health

Active gum disease must be treated before implants are placed. Periodontal issues are managed as part of the overall plan, not treated as a barrier.

Lifestyle

Smoking significantly increases implant failure risk by reducing blood flow to the surgical site. We encourage patients who smoke to stop before and after the procedure.

What does not disqualify you

Many patients told elsewhere that they were ineligible turn out, on proper assessment, to be perfectly good candidates.

Insufficient bone is by far the most common reason given — and it is frequently treatable. Bone grafting, sinus lifts, and ridge augmentation can rebuild the jaw to the dimensions an implant needs.

Age is not a limit. There is no upper age cut-off, and patients in their seventies and eighties routinely receive implants where their health permits minor surgery.

A previous implant failure does not mean the next one will fail. We identify why the first failed, reassess the site, and plan a revised approach with updated imaging and guided surgery.

Common questions

What if I have diabetes? +

Diabetes does not disqualify you. Well-controlled blood sugar improves healing outcomes, so coordinate with your physician and tell Dr. Singh how your diabetes is managed.

I was told I don't have enough bone. Is that final? +

No. Bone grafting, sinus lifts, and ridge augmentation can rebuild the jawbone. A second opinion with 3D imaging will clarify what is actually achievable in your case.

Is age a factor? +

There is no age limit for implants. Your overall health and ability to undergo minor surgery matter far more than the number.

What if my gums are unhealthy? +

Gum disease is treated first. Once your gums are healthy, implants are placed as part of the standard treatment plan.
